Literary Analysis of its Significance
The Farm-cart is mentioned during Emma's wedding. Some of the younger less established visitors like the young men used farm-carts to attend the wedding. It shows that everyone that could attend the wedding came to the wedding because farm-carts weren't a very popular carriage back then.
